Eclipsing Abramovich - Blue and White Halves

By Luke - The Football Manager Addicts and Luke's Stories of An FM Addict

Hello guys and welcome to my latest EA blog!
In today's edition of Eclipsing Abramovich I will be running through the side who were crowned champions of Eclipsing Abramovich Division Two; got to the third round of the League Cup; the fourth round of The EA Cup and won The Challenge Cup...

That team was Blue and White Halves!

CHAMPIONS!

Becoming champions is no mean feat. You cant have a bad spell, you cant have back room disputes. Put simply you have to focus 100% on winning and the Blue and White Halves did!

'The Wasps' weren't spectacular at any point. There biggest win was at home at World XI, whom they beat 3-0, - there biggest defeat 4-2 was away at World XI! The hallmark of their success was their consistency. They churned out small wins both at home and away; it was enough for them to lift the league trophy!

It was tight at the top!
As you can see, they were a conservative side. They conceeded the least out of the league but scored few goals themselves!

With an average age of 28 will they survive life in Divison One?

Cup Glory! Ish...

Well Blue and White Halves did win The Challenge Cup, but I'd argue it doesn't really count!

As you can tell by the badges on Eclipsing Abramovich we adopted the Scottish League's as our base - not  changing any of the rules! In turn this means that The Challenge Cup is only contested by lower league sides.

Blue and White Halves battered the lower league sides they faced to put them into the Semi-Finals! They beat World XI 3-1 in a dull and monotonous match...

The final against Kenedy FC was a tad more exciting but will 'The Wasps' mind? I doubt it: they've bagged a cup!

The Players!

Despite the team not scoring many goals there talismatic Argentine forward smashed home 21 goals this year - Lionel Messi picked up the Golden Boot! Due to his goal scoring exploits he picked up 15 MOTM awards and an average rating of 9.1! Not bad for a clone ah?

Luis 'Bitey' Suarez got 12 assits and the best biting accuracy at 100%!

Balanta had the best shots to goals ratio! 1/1 is all he needed to steal the award from left back...

(It was FMLC who nicknamed him Bitey!)

IT'S PARTY TIME!

James McAvely could have a bright future. 'The Wasps' brave striker is a decent finisher and quite intelligent!

He mat get a very low score for his hair but can he make the step up any time soon?

Going Up! Staying Up?

The big question for Eclipsing Abramovich Division Two champions Blue and White Halves is weather they can stay in the top flight! They have an ageing side so they don't lack experience: do they still have the legs?

Who knows...

Eclipsing Abramovich - FC Hotspur

By Luke - The Football Manager Addicts and Luke's Stories of An FM Addict

Hello guys and welcome to my latest EA blog!
In today's edition of Eclipisng Abramovich I will be running through the side who came third in EAD2; who won the League Cup; reached the EA Cup's 4th round and narrowly lost in the Play-Off final!

That team is FC Hotpur...

You Partied To Hard...

I'm disappointed in you FC Hotspur. Not because you beat my beloved West Ham on the opening day - but because you throw away a brilliant campaign!

Having not lost a game until the new year FC Hotspur looked like dead certs to go up but the players (and probably the manager) partied to hard. The boys in red lost ten straight games in the league and were well and truly down in the dumps - it was relegation form...

They picked up their biggest defeat in that ten game losing streak! It was 3-2 loss away at Kenedy FC...

However 'The Hotties' broke the curse and picked up their biggest win of the season on 14th June - a 2-0 win over King Henry FC!

From then on they were up and down more times than a YOYO but just about made this years play-off's...

Squeaky Bum Time...

'The Hotties' first play off tie saw them take on Real Alfie FC! They scrapped through by two clear goals - courtesy of a 3-2 and 2-1 win. In the semi-final FC Hotspur pushed 2nd placed World XI aside, again, with two well worked wins!

Only in the final was there true drama! The first leg was dominated by Heskey City FC, who ran out narrow 2-1 winners.

Because of their first leg plight FC Hotspur went out all guns blazing. They managed to take the lead in the 118th minute, courtesy of a Ronaldo goal! But 'The He's Key's' broke and scored with just seconds to score - it would be decided by penalties...

FC Hottspur were undone in the shot out. Di Maria and John Stones missed while Lionel Messi, Emile Heskey and Neymar scored for the away side!

If only they'd turned up in 2014...

Ouch, Ouch, Ouch...

 Silver Linings...

FC Hotspur made up for their dismal league form in 2014 by battling their way to The League Cup, twice beating higher leagued opposition!

Montorse were brushed aside in the first round 4-0, which is no surprise. They then beat Caravan Club FC 3-2 away but had to take their hosts to extra time!

FC Banterlona, whom did very well in the 1st Division, were FC Hotspur's next victims! Despite FC Banterlona taking an early lead, courtesy of Neymar, 'The Hotties' came through to win the game with two goals late on!

Brazil '14 FC and World XI were similarly brushed aside and it put FC Hotspur into the final!

And what a game it was for 'The Hotties'! Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Gareth Bale all found the net in a dominant display that saw them lift the trophy!

Yes, they could do it in Glassgow on rainy day!

 The Players!

Guess what?

Lionel Messi scopped five awards for FC Hotspur - FIVE! The Argentine supremo scored 18 goals, got 10 MOTM awards, dribbled 7.2 times a game, was 80% accurate with his shooting and had a 7.84 average rating! He lead the charts in the five disciplines above but what about the rest of them?

Toni Kroos bagged himself the most assists, with 18. Sergio Ramos had the best passing, with 86% accuracy. Everyone's favourite banta player - Balanta was an animal in a tackle, winning 6 a match. And to finish Artura Vidal was the dirtiest - he picked up two red cards!

Ya.

 The German's did good!

Neuer was 'Keeper of the year...

The Regen's

If you're hoping for a blockbuster show from the regens of FC Hotspur you are going to be very disappointed because they are dreadful, and that's being polite...

FC Hotspur's U-21 captain is Jordan Reid. He is a winger with 8 pace (I averaged the two stats) and a captain with 4 leadership - do I need to say any more?

A Normal Formation!

FC Hotspur is one of very few teams to play a normal formation! Let's just soak it up...

Real Alfie FC Eclipsing Abramovic Season 1 review

Hello and welcome to another exciting Eclipsing Abramovich blog. I FM Lord Chris am back and today we are looking at Real Alfie FC here we have alot of World class players that really did well and I will start with them. Unlike the last blog I wrote for this series there is one clear stand out player, his name is Lionel Messi if you hadnt guessed that already. Last time I wrote about him Cristano Ronaldo was very close to being up to his standard, In the Real Alfie FC that was not the case.

Magician Messi had played 44 scored 17 3 of those penalties, from the spot he didn't miss. He also assisted in 14 goals and got 14 PoM his average rating was 8.09. Every time I see his stats you do think wow what a player with eight 20 stats.

As for second place it is that man Cristano Ronaldo as we would all expect he did score 15, 2 of those penalties again he didn't miss from the spot. He got 7 assists 3 Pom but did get 5 yelows, 7.64 was his average rating. After Messi having eight 20's I would expect Ronaldo to be close say six or seven, he has One which I think is unfair as he is one of the greatest ever (Unless he joins United again then I may not grace him that.)

Next up and not far behind Cristano is Eden Hazard 14 goals 2 pens which he didnt miss he also set up 5. He got two players of the match and a 7.33 average rating. Hazard is a player I doubt I have to explain to many people the Chelsea player looks set to join the other two as one of the best in the world and at 23 there is plenty of time.

Another Argentine and Sergio Aguerro he scored 11 with only taking one penalty that he scored. He may have only assisted one but did get 3 PoM and a 7.36 average rating. On his day he is one of the best strikers in the world and one I am a huge fan of.

Next up is a young Italian winger El Shaarawy from AC Milan if i am honest i have hardly seen anything of this man IRL bring back Sunday morning Channel 4 football Italia, But if FM is anything to go by he's an exciting player. At 21 hes getting his name mentioned with the above players (an Endorsement like this from me is a privilege for Stephan) He was picked mainly because he scored 9 goals, he statred 13 but came on as a sub 20 times his average rating was only 6.81. He did assist with 5 aswell, he will be one to follow in this squad I am not surprised he wasnt a regular but he has got to be impressing the manager with getting on the score sheet so often.

The last of the players i picked was an odd one 29 year old Hernanes he scored 8 playing 21(15) he also assisted 2 goals but 6.79 wasnt the best average rating but i did feel he contributed.

Before i show you the rest of the squad I would like to draw your attention to the manager which I haven't done before unless there has been a sacking. The ex Chelsea and current Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti one of the best and he was a very good choice as far as managers go. His knowledge of the league is a little disturbing but I have not compared him to any of the others. He lays out with a solid defence with two holding midfielders just in front of the back four.

Umiti Samuel which is a new player on me which i have seen has been selected often deserves a mention as he did well again Neuer was picked in goal. Some very good youngsters aswell in a team that finished 4th in the league.

An exceptional start to the season was followed by a run of loses in November-December time being knocked out the EA Cup early aswell.

The league cup they got to the Semi Final only to be knocked out by King Henry FC. A poor end to the season knocked them out the promotion play offs to Hotspur FC.

As for fixtures i picked two, one was a huge loss mainly due to two red cards the other was the game after against the same team which was a win.

Eclipsing Abramovich - Ginger Athletic

By Luke - The Football Manager Addicts and Luke's Stories of An FM Addict

Hello guys and welcome to my latest EA blog!
In todays edition of Eclipisng Abramovich I will be running through the side who came 5th in Eclipsing Abramovich Division Two; got the the third round of The League Cup and the fifth round of The EA Cup!
That side was Ginger Athletic...

A Season of Two Halves...

Ginger Athletic will be left thinking - 'It could of been so better' and it should of! They had a squad geared to winning now, and not later, but that risk went slack!

In their prime - They should of done better!
With a squad full of talent they started the season brilliantly; topping the table after ten games! However after a string of injuries the 'Ginger Brazilians' dropped out of the reckoning and into the comforts of mid-table...

Let's all do an Arsenal?
The funniest thing about Ginger Athletic's fall from grace is whom there manager is! Arsene Wenger lead his side brilliantly in the opening week's winning the first three games 2-0 but they fell of in January dropping silly points against lesser teams! Drawing 1-1 and losing 4-0 to The Genius' FC. However the slide was halted in June - they limped home with two back to back wins!

Same old Arsene?

No Trophies For Arsene...

Both cup's brought despair for 'The Ginger Brazilians'! They were knocked out by Brazil '14 FC in the 3rd round in The League Cup and were beaten again by a higher league opposition, Lionel Richtea FC, in The EA Cup!
Although they did get a record win against non-league Huntly in the EA Cup's third round! They battered the plucky contenders 7-0 away to see themselves into round 4...

The Players!

Having seen the squad I bet your itching to know who was the best player? (Well I hope so!)
Well Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi and Leighton Baines dominated awards season! Ronaldo scored 18 goals and picked up 12 MOTM awards. Messi bagged the most dribbles (6.2) and best average rating (9.1). English full back Leighton Baines got 9 assits and 12 yellow cards in a good season!
However a shout-out is required for super sub David Silva! He made 19 appearances; all of them were from the bench!

Baines made a splash - 36 starts for him!
Silva - Well he kept the bench warm...

Ginger Athletic - HOYD Needed!

Now for the really bad news: your Youth Intake was terrible!
Tom Wingate was your best player - and I have little hope for him! A youth striker with 5 first touch is bad enough but when you realise he's scared of his own shadow and panics when he sees the goal you know your f****d!
In all aspects of the word Ginger Athletic will be hoping for better next time around!

And For The Finale!

Spot the Centre-Back's! It'll take you a while...

Eclipsing Abramovich: King Henry FC Season One review

Good evening/morning/afternoon (delete as you applicable) Sorry this has taken me so long to sit down and write but life has just taken over recently. Here is our fourth in the series of blog's for Eclipsing Abramovich. This is also my first blog for what feels like a lifetime, but I am coming to you first so please forgive any mistakes.

FM Lord Chris

Lets start with King Henry FC a very very good team makes me wonder just who else could have been in the teams above, we have Ronaldo and Messi as well as Zlatan, Neuer, Neymar. Although Ramos Boateng Naldo and Varne are not the strongest of CB's but Varne and Naldo are also younger so may bode well for them in the future.

Before we start with the squad lets single out the two best in the world the stand out players of Lionel Messi and Cristano Ronaldo. These two should have been in every team especially Messi who is abit over powered in FM 14 if you ask me. Although I have said that, I cant honestly decide who is the key player which one is more important to King Henry FC. 19 goals 5 assists or 9 goals and 14 assists both involved in the same amount of goals. But One did have 8 more POM and a better average rating so I guess the title goes to Lionel Messi but Cristano Ronaldo did push him all the way. (Ronaldo was the one with the goals)

If I am honest the first person I saw and took note of was THE Zlatan Ibrahimovic, pretty big name and player to miss out. I have to say I always look at him and he is never the top goalscorer or stand out player, part of me wants to watch all his goals because I assume they are all special. He did score more than Messi though but less than Cristano.

The rest of the squad is still just as good some great young players Pogba, Draxler and others one that will improve greatly over the years and could be a team to watch.

As for tactics I cant quite see the past and really didn't have time to check all matches but the ones I did look at all seem to be the 4-2-3-1 pretty straight forward.

Looking at their fixtures the team did well, very well in the cup so much so they knocked out the best team in the whole of Eclipsing Abramovich, any compliments I have made about the team I am half tempted to remove and change to "luck merchants with no real future." But today I am not feeling that petty but no promises in the future. There are no real great runs of form, had there been they may have finished higher but there are also no real runs of terrible form they where up and down result wise.

The first match I have selected to analyse is their biggest defeat Lionel Messi and Zlatan Ibramhimovic ripping them a new one both with 10.0 rating in that game losing 5-2. That being said King Henry FC Zlatan did not start but Messi did and he played very well (9.0) maybe if Zlatan had they may have had more upfront as it looks like Neymar was the lone striker, overpowered by Ramos and Hummels? Neither Neuer played great in that game and it showed with 7 goals being scored.

Going out the FA Cup looked a bit of a shame but going to the final of the League cup is a very big achievement showing potential in the team. (Especially their victory over FM Lord Chris FC, very luck there) March looked a horrible month with only one win, if things had been turned around sooner they could have been higher up the table.

Here is the cup final again another loss but is always an important game to look at, Messi Suarez and Bale scored for FC Hotspur. Suarez and Bale would be two ways of improving this team but I do like Draxler although I haven't used him myself on FM 14 yet.

Ill leave you with their biggest win a 3-0 over the relegated Genius FC Terry, Cole, Raul and Xavi couldn't stop Ronaldo and Sanchez that day.

Eclipsing Abramovich - Caravan Club FC

By Luke - The Football Manager Addicts and Luke's Stories of an FM Addict

Hello guys and welcome to my latest EA blog!
In todays edition of Eclipisng Abramovich I will be running through the side who came 7th in EAD 2;  who reached round 2 in The League Cup and fell at the first hurdle at the EA Cup!

That team was Caravan Club FC!

The Draw Masters!

Caravan Club FC managed to draw 11 times in the league - the most out of both divisions! They went ahead in 7 of those matches and had they held their lead they would have finished third...

They also went through good patches and bad patches! The Papa New Guinea club lost 3 in a row, drew three in a row and the won three in a row! They couldn't even blame injuries for their form - they only had one long term injury all year!

'The Movers' biggest victory in the league was a 4-1 victory at home against The Genius' FC! Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi picked up the goals for the hosts but they didn't dominate the game! They had less possession and less clear cut chances then 'The Golden Oldies' but managed to take the spoils in the ding-dong battle!

Spanish striker Raul found the net!
However as you can tell it wasn't like this every time! They lost 3-1 to the Blue and White Halves and managed to scupper a 3-0 lead against World XI to draw 3-3 - oh dear boys!

'Who Cares About The Cup's?'

You would be easily mistaken to think Sam Allardyce managed 'The Mover's' because they were sh*t in the cups! Rival fans could happily use the joke: 'Whats the difference between a tea bag and Carvan Club FC? A teabag stays in the cup longer!' Dum Dump Chh!

No, the Challenge Cup doesn't count!

The Lads...

A team with Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi is going to produce goals - but who will score the most? Well this year CR7 reigned supreme! The Portuguese captain smashed home 21 league goals, to Messi's piddly 17!
Philpp Lahm was the main assister with 8; Messi got the most MOTM awards and highest average rating (11 and 8.9); Mats Hummels was the teams best passer; Kompany made 5. tackles a game and Steven Gerrard showed his dark side! He picked up eleven yellow cards - chill out Stevie!

Stevie G and Ronaldo! The good, bad and outrageous of CCFC...

Stop! Regen Time! (See what I did there?)

Caravan Club FC have been blessed by the Football Manager god's or maybe even Miles Jacobsen!?

Andrew Finie is there only regen of note but he has a big future!

As you can see the guy looks like a decent target man already! He is a versatile forwards that scored 18 goals in his under 21's campaign! This guy is worth watching...

And To Finish...

To finish off this blog I wanted to show you CCFC's formation - it's a bit different...

Messi wont like having to share centre stage! #IbraPartTwo

Eclipsing Abramovich: Kennedy FC Season 1

Welcome back it may only have been a day since I FM Lord Chris last blogged for you but I do hope you have enjoyed them so far. Today I am going to tell you about Kennedy FC as you may have guessed by the title. They finished third from bottom or on a more positive note 7th from the top.

As for Managers they are now managed by Andre Villa Boas after Jurgen Klopp was sacked in December, now I don't know about you but I know which manager I would rather have at my club and he never managed Chelsea or Spurs. But that's personal opinion, Villa-Boas did improve their form towards the end so a clever move by the board.

As you can see they have a squad that is much more competitive than The Genius FC who I wrote about last time, In fact they have actually tried to do well unlike The Genius FC. I am surprised that I haven't mentioned Messi's name as an actual player in a team yet, as I find it hard to believe with his FM stats that anyone could leave him out. But this chairman did, favouring Cristano Ronaldo over the Argentine. The best average rating award again goes to a Barcelona CM but this time its Andrea Iniesta rather than Xavi. The top goalscorer is the Brayern Munich Striker Robert Lewandowski with 20 only two more than just mentioned Ronaldo. To be honest that is a very solid team a good young back line with Hummels in there as a bit of experience I am surprised they where 7th but that being said I haven't seen the squad of any teams above Kennedy FC.

I have heard people say that Cristano deteriorates far to quickly on FM and it will be interesting to see just how truthful that statement is in Eclipsing Abramovich, a player of his talent should still be a top player over the next 5 years barring any injuries. He hasn't shown signs of slowing down above though still very much a Red stat player.

Award times and the 3rd most in form team at the end of the season was Kennedy FC which could be a very good omen for next season. As for player records there was only 2: Rafinha for the most Yellow cards he came 1st with 16 and Rafinha was also 3rd in the amount of Red card's with 2, He may have a discipline issue.

Re-gens time:

Tommy Hodge and if this is the standard of Re-gens Kennedy FC are going to get with high quality youth facilities id ask for a refund. That may just have been because I switched from Ronaldo to him quite quickly but he needs allot of work if Ronaldo wants to retire at any point. He was the best from a poor bunch and I'm sure that next year someone with abit more about them will come through. He can dribble and isn't the slowest of wingers and that's what he will probably have to be with such poor finishing it may be because I favour Inside forwards I don't know about him. What do you all think of him?

As before anything more you want to see please do just ask and we will post it for you I have been FM Lord Chris have a good rest of day and Luke will be with you tomorrow for another instalment of...........
Eclipsing Abramovich.

Thank You For Reading!
