Eclipsing Abramovich - Boumosng United

By Luke - The Football Manager Addicts and Luke's Stories of an FM Addict

Hello guys and welcome to my latest blog!

In  toady's edition of Eclipsing Abramovich I will be running through the side who came 9th in Eclipsing Abramovich Division Two; got to the quarters of The EA Cup and failed in The League Cup!

That side was Boumsong United...

A Bit Sketchy...

It was a season of: what if's, but's and mabye's for the 'Chairman' of Boumsong United...

They were up and down more times then a YOYO and it was that that condemned them to a relegation play-off spot! They started terribly, losing their first three games, but they bounced back, picking up seven points from nine. It was the story of their season!

Their biggest win in the league was a 3-0 away win against Real Alfie! David Alaba scooped the man of the match award with a 9.2 match rating. However, rather ironically, their worst league defeat was at home to Real Alfie!

They have promise: their issue is fulfilling it!

Cup Glory?

Unfortunately for the 'chairman' there was no cup glory this year! Although you did have a good fist at it, by reaching the Quarter Final's of The EA Cup (they big one).

It just didnt go right...

The League Cup was one to forget! You were knocked out in the second round by Real Alfie, I sense a rivalry coming on there!

The 'Squad'.

As you would come to expect Lionel Messi was the stand out man! He picked up three awards! Average Rating, Highest Team Scorer and Most Assists. He ended the season with an 8.06 rating, 18 goals and 12 assists! Unsurprisingly he picked up 10 MOTM awards too!

Rapheal Varane was the slickest passer, notching up a 87% completion rate; Kenny Bell, A Regen, made the most tackles per game, at 6.7; Dribbles per game went to Neymar and Shot's on Target per Game went to Marquinhos (he only had one!)

Two not worthy player's!      Lionel Messi and Eden Hazard starred for Boumsong...

'But how did they lineup?' I hear you say! Well Gordon Strachan's side started with a basic 442 and stuck with it!

Regen Time...

Despite his plight in depths of Eclipsing Abramovichian (aka Scottish) football Strachan did blood some regens - and they look good!

A decent defender!
By far the stand out youngster...
